    Hatch broke. How to reinforce

Well I flipped and cracked the hatch. It seems VERY weak stock right behind the windshield and infront of the foam that ProBoat reinforced it with. If only they would've carried that foam forward.

After I get a new hatch how can I reinforce it to keep from happening again? Seems I could pour some expanding foam in behind the windshield?

Add some carbon fibre to it,that should make its stiffer and stronger,or add some glass cloth my preference would be biaxial cloth this stuff is very strong and not expensive,450 g should do it.

I had the same experience with my new impulse 31. It was running with two 30C 5300 nano-techs, and a 42 x 55 prop. I flipped it and the hatch came off, cracking in the same places that Mtwinste mentioned.
PS: The tupper ware hatch doesn't float without some added buoyancy. Just Sayin'
