question on impulse 31, turnigy nano tech's and esc

I'm new to this forum and rc boating and I just bought the proboat impulse 31 and am waiting for the Turnigy nano-tech 5300mah 2S2P 30~60C batteries to run it. According to proboat the esc is programmed for lipo’s and if I were to use something else I would have to reprogram the esc accordingly. I know the nano tech’s are lipo’s but they are a little different from regular lipo’s I think. At the risk of sounding stupid, my question is; am I gonna have to reprogram my esc to use the nano tech’s? Thanks!

nothing different about the nano they will work fine, maybe just double check the factory settings just to make sure it is lipo ready
