Fastech with a snazzy New Paint Job!

I was never a fan of the Red clashing blue paint job, just not for me.. so I stripped her down and went Arctic white with a dark blue Metallic on the sides. Turned out pretty nice, just difficult to get the old windshield off.. Let me know what you think, I wanted a more scale look

My buddy's Formula 330 SS with custom blue gel coat, looks close!

Now that looks sweet. I wish proboat would have come out with a similar paint scheme.

Thanks! I live in stouffville, North of Markham.. but i rip the boat around shadow lake near coboconk in the summer. I need to find some places more local to float around.

Looks great! I'd definitely say you ended up with a more scale look.

Unforunatley this sunday I am going to the zoo (zoo zoo). IT's free teacher day and my wife's a teacher. But I will definatley join the fun at some point this summer!

I sanded using a series of grits down to 600 wet to get the clear coat off, and then used duplicolor primer/paint Quickly wet sanded the primer then over a couple of days slowly put on ultra thin coats to try to get it as consistant as possible. I hid it under some dollar store paint tarps to keep the dust off of it while it dried each time.

I REALLY wish i could buy just a white hull and hatch from Proboat, as there finish seems flawless like gelcoat. Maybe I will have to send an email.

No i didn't thin kof it until after, but it really was easy. I used Duplicolor Filler Primer which goes on thick and is sandable. It really made for a smooth surface. Other than that, just be really patient with tape and paint dry times. I can't wait to get some shots on the water, i will post them when I do!
