1st tunnel hull... -why the left sponson is wider then the right on stiletto?

one would think that the sponsons should be the same size or am I missing something here?

They are all like that, the TS-2, TS-3, VS-1, Siletto etc......helps them turn better when racing clockwise.

Ok, thanks Doby. Only thing I could think of was counter clockwise turning prop had something to do with it, but what you wrote makes sense.
Never heard of sponsons being different sized b4 so wanted to know why that is so, and now I know!
