*!***!***!***!** that runs well, can you post some pics of the battery placement and strut? I have the MG29 V2, slower standard 4s setup but I have the same prop. Would love to see what COG/strut you a running. Good work

Turnigy blue 4500 4s. Strut up i/8 from flush batterys are flush with back of trays but nose is closed cell foam filled and it was the perfect amount of weight it needed to smooth it out and holds it together great. Have many many dolphin dives at 40 plus and not a crack my first hull didnt make it weeks without a split

Dang, that mystic is dialed in!!

I just put together a similar upgraded setup with a leopard 4074 2200kv and M445 for my neighbor, I am only seeing approx. 40 mph. The strut has about 1/8'' sticking out the top. With the current centered battery placement it seems to hop a lot in the water. I figure the only option is to move them forward but that will probably reduce speed since it will run wetter. His boat is running brand new 2 x 30C Gens Ace 5300 mah 2s packs in series I realize they are only 30C but the IR is really low per cell, around 2, which leads me to believe they are more like 40-50C which is typically of all my other GA packs. Any other tuning tips to get the speed and stability up?

...follow up, I ran it again after swapping to the M445, unreal how much that prop makes a difference with this boat. It probably picked up at least 10 mph. I think he will need to run the batteries far forward for stability since it got airborne once on calm water on a WOT pass.

Yea if you close cell foam the nose it will give ya perfect weight.
Members on here sell kits or you can order from kinetic.
Then read my battery thread listed in this conversation ,although 4s add weight the extra power makes up for it
