looking for more speed in my mystic.

I'm running 20C batteries and I talked to an RC Tech, he said if I go up with the "C" rating I'll get more Speed, but less Runtime, which Im cool with. With my 20C Batteries I'm able to get run times of 30 - 45 minutes, I also got rid of the deans connectors, and soldiered on 6.0mm Gold Bullet connectors onto the motor wires to the ESC, and from the ESC to the Batteries. also I upgraded the ESC to a HobbyWing 180A.

What Batteries would be a good combination for this ride?

Forty-five minutes of run time? What capacity are your cells? How many Ps? With 5000 mAh capacity that's less than 7 amps average draw - you'd be moving ~10 mph tops....

      Forty-five minutes of run time?
thats hard to believe on 20c packs its even harder ive never got more than 7 or 8 min running very easy in fact im surprised those packs have not self destructed or not puffed i run at the lowest 40c and only get around 4-6min of hard driving do you have any video of these claimed run times

It'd be difficult to upload a long video.
        My 11.1v 3cell batteries have a charge rate of 1C (5A), continuous discharge of 20C (100A), max burst rate of 40C (200A).
My 7.4v 2cell batteries have a charge rate of 1C, continuous discharge rate of 25C (125A), and a max burst of 40C.
I run 2 batteries in the boat in series.

Garrett, running the boat for 10 seconds then letting it sit for 5 minutes then running again etc. doesn't count. There's just no way you run constant for more than 10 minutes. It's not even argue able. You should actually time your run sometime rather than just guess

dana, I usually run my boat when I can. so when I'm test running a boat for work, I try to take my mystic with me. the last time I did, I was running a 26 foot ProLine Center console Fishing boat with a Honda 200 four stroke, equipped with a 5 bladed propeller. the Pro Line was running a max speed of 32 mph. The Mystic was running at a max speed of30 mph. My Mystic with dual 7.4v LiPo batteries was not only able to keep up, but the test run lasted an hour, and we drove about 6 miles, and the Mystic was able to handle 4 miles The batteries started losing power at about 40 to 45 minutes. and (I dont run my mystic at full throttle all the time, I usually run at 3/4 throttle, because I like to have a little bit of wiggle room.) we also dont run the test boats at full throttle for very long either. I will say that it handles an 8 inch chop very well. and wake jumping not so well.

as I posted as the main topic. Does anyone know of more powerful batteries, looking to get more top end, not very concerned with the runtime.

Why do you need more powerful batteries if you're only using 1/4 throttle and hour runtimes?

How do you run at 30mph for an hour and only make it 6 miles?

You haven't posted what brand of batteries you use. How could anyone prescribe more powerful ones? More powerful than what?
Sorry bud, but nothing you say adds up

I said 3/4 throttle. and usually I'll have the boat go off in the distance, and come close, then go off again, and come close again. Ive ran it around other boats. over their wakes, and back to my boat.
