pro boat mystic smoking!! need some help

Hey Guys I have been running my mystic stock for a couple months with out any issue, I just put a x645 prop on it and love the way it handles. I put my iphone in it and it clocked a little over 41mph it tracks like its on rails and no more bouncing.when i brought the boat in after about 2min of hard running there was some white smoke under the hatch, didnt really smell like rubber or plastic but definetly electrical.
    X645
Temps after 1 min out of water.
    motor 110f
    batts 110 130 f(7.4 x 2)
    esc top heat sink 95f
    esc front near caps 110-140f

Im pretty sure this is a esc issue and i am over proped.
If I upgrade the esc to a 120 - 200 amps esc will this problem go away or will i still need to prop down?
what are max temps for motor and esc?
Its going to be hard to prop back down after seeing her run on the x645 .
    thanks for any info...

Too much prop. What's the kv on the motor? Like 1800 or something right?

Propping down doesn't mean loss of speed necessarily, in cases it can get you more speed.

Wrong pitch props in my opinion. You want 1.4 pitch bud. Try m445 or x442

I see , could i stick with this prop and go with a bigger esc i would like to have a little room to play on temps? I have to order another esc for my backup boat.

I prolly wouldn't, but you can try it. I can't say for sure. I prop according to my motor esc. I never buy my esc based on prop size "shrug". I'm sure someone more knowledgable can chime in

I wasnt planning on buying esc around a prop I was planning on picking up a esc for another project and swaping them out.I do like the way the boat handles and sounds with this bigger prop.

One of the problems on a mystic is the size of bullet connectors used (motor to esc). The stock ones are 3.5mm connectors, these are not really adequate at all for this type of boat (Darin Jordan told me). Try some 5.5mm bullet connectors from the esc to the motor and that would allow the current to flow a lot nicer through the esc and motor!
                    Hope I could help!

I would say around the 140 mark, not 100% sure though as i only ordered my mystic yesterday! Hobbyking have some cheap $12 infrared temp gauges, these are great and work all the time!
