Miss Geico 29" won't boot up?

Recently plugged in both LiPo's and nothing. No beeping or any signs of life. Both batts show 8V (approx.) with my Lipo tester, but strangely one battery shows this voltage on my old fashioned volt meter, but the other only shows 7.3V. Not sure how this could be or if its related. Anyone have any thoughts? Thanks!

Check the esc plug in the receiver. If it's reversed you will get nothing.

That is a large difference between cells. Did you charge them in series or each one on its own?

Each on their own. Do you think the boat would care if there was a difference in voltages as long as one isn't at 100% and the other at 20% or something like that.

I would not run batteries that are that far off from each other. I would use a charger or cell checker to see what is up with the lower voltage cell.
