    question about connectors

    Im currently running traxxas style plugs in my mg i do have 5.5 connectors kicking around and im just wondering what are the benefits of switching to the 5.5?

    Do the Traxxas plugs get hot? If so switch, 5.5's will handle more amps with less heat if you do any mods that increase draw. I would just go ahead with 5.5 on all, you will eventually play with props and or more voltage, besides it's fun to do, that's why it is a hobby!

      Also, bullets are a lot easier to solder than the Traxxas plugs. Pushing the tabs in on them suck.

        Ok thanks guys for the info and i never felt the traxxas ones get really hot yet, warm yes but ill end up switching to bullets.
