What my next step should be??? ESC & Motor upgrade

    Hey guys, super newb here.

My MG has an issue. The last time I was out about 5 mins into the run I lost all my power. I mean the boat has dropped to about 1/4 power and that's all it does. Up till that moment the boat has be fine. Ive tried different batteries and its the same. I reprogrammed it with the card lastnight so I'll get it out this week to see if that worked but honestly I am ready for the next step.

What I want is just a faster boat that challenges me when I drive it. I am not looking for the straight line top speed but more of a out of the water monster. But I also don't want the boat to top off at 25 mphs also.

What do you guys suggest for a nice over all increase in power? I was looking at the Seaking-120A and a Turnigy AquaStar 3974-2200KV Which already has the water cooling right on it. Will that drop into the boat? Also what prop should I get for again just an all around fun boat.

    Thanks in advance
    Jason

You may want to try a 2000kv 4074 Leopard or clone(Keda, Tacon etc....) to get you the beef you want out of the hole and out of turns. It will also be a bit easier on the T120. I ran a 2200kv on 4s in my Pursuit with a T120a and it handled it with an x442 and hit 48 mph, a 2000kv and somewhere in the x442, m445, x640 rannge will keep you safe with the T120a, most likely pulling 100a +/-.
NEED PARALLEL CONNECTORS?? QUALITY 5.5MM, 8MM, 8 AND 10 AWG, GET THEM HERE: http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...est!&highlight=

Hey thanks for the info. I'm looking into everything right now. I found a 2150kv 4074 with cooler on ebay. How much of a difference would the 2150 be from the 2000?

With the Leopard do you just use a high heat glue to attach the water cooler?
