Motor whinning out?

    Motor whinning out?

    When i drive my mg coming out of a turn and i go to pin it it seems like the motor is whinning out and the boat doesnt move much ease off the throttle then apply throttle is goes fine then any ideas what this might be?

    thats the prop cavitating i think. mine does that, just lay on the throttle and it will get up. just needs to start up. the.motor is fine. now there might be something dofferent. i might have misread it but i think.its kust cavitating. what prop are you running?

      Hey sry for late reply the prop im using is aquacraft 42/55 but i believe it did it with the stock prop as well.

        i am haveing the same problem just order a new flex drive and connector i will try this to see if it resolve the problem i call proboat to see if thay had a solution thay told me to check the tip of thr flex drive for grease that may have got on the motor connector my mg is only 2 months old thay are sending me a new flex deive and motor connector for free to try

          Hi well i replaced the flex drive and connector still haveing the same problem my mg is on the way back to proboat so thay can troubleshoot and resolve the problem i will let you know the finding .

            It's the prop caving, it is spinning faster than it can hook in the water in a sense.

              I don,t understand it does happen all the time the first laps is fine if this was a prop caving problem wouldn,t it have happen from the start.

                Well you did t tell us that. That could be the esc. What kind of esc u have

                    Can you post pics of the back and side of your boat so that we can see your strut and rudder alignment?
