Almost sunk miss geico

Just messing around in local lake and started messing with steering. MISTAKE! Put to much steering input and over she went submerging all electronics. What should I do to try and save electronics? If at all possible. Also what is a good recommendation for a upgraded esc and motor?

Well try saving then first. Put in uncooked white rice. The rice trick works. Leave them in for a while. More than a week. Upgrades forbelectronics. I see people running a t180 or speaking 180... Same thing. And a castle 1515 motor. I have that.setup and.will be testing.soon.

should i oil motor or something like that?

I would spray it on the inside with WD-40 and let it set on end to dry and keep it from rusting. then put a couple drop of oil into the bearings. should be ok then.

Wd40 will work I might even take the.motor apart and.spray it and wipe.It all down. If you can. Take the case off the servo rx and etc so it can dry easier

Pull out the motor and spray corrosion-X inside it let it sit for a few minutes then blow it out with compressed air, the rest of the boat you can just leave the hull open to air out for a week then it should be good,, you can open the servo to help it.. I sunk my miss elam 3 times, let it air out each time and sprayed the motor and it always went back to running fine..

I agree with hydrojerry. Let it air out for a day

Of the esc and servo were soaked and everything got.wet make sure.they dry completely or youbwill have trouble

dont let all the trouble scare you
I have had mine full of water every tme I run it for over a year and still the stock stuff ran fine
Just let it dry out each day when i got home

I now run the seaking 180 covered it with spray electrical tape and put dielectric grease on the reiciever plugs and same thing
Have never had a issue with any of them
and let me tell you it has all been wet many a time and not damp full to the brink
only the spray foam saved her from a watery grave
