    Mg strut bushings help please

Do i need 2 kintec Removable Replacement Bushings when replacing the MG standered ones
one coming in each side or do I take both Mg ones out and install this one from the prop side and just need one?

May seem obvious to you but ive never done one

did you try a drillbit? a bit larger than inside diameter of bushing but smaller than inside diameter of the strut you can do it without destroying it if youre careful

ok so maybe im retarted but the kintec ones are long and taper do i have to cut them or what
i assume the smaller part of bushing goes away from prop on back one and if so then the front one would be smaller part toward prop
and they would hit or am i missing something.
Maybe i just need to replace with the lead ones from ose

The lead teflon ones are sweet. Have them for my ms g. Almost as smooth as my ball bearing strut. Brass ones don't compare IMO. They should be the same length, or at least really close

What size lead teflon bushings did you guys order from OSE to replace the stock MG ones? I would assume they would work on the Mystic as well??

                  Thanks for the help.

What is a strut bearing and how can I get one. I was looking for a ball bearing to replace the bushing but it is pretty small. What size lead/ Teflon bushings or bearings do I order for a ms geico. Was going OSE as most people say its the way to go. Help thx.

Skyhighdiver, did you get the answer you were looking for? I ordered the kintec 3/16" short bushing (3 holes) for mystic and it was a perfect fit front to back. It spins freely like its supposed to. Keep the distance from the drive dog to a minimum or the bushing can spin out. I think the one on the site for the MG is meant to go in leaving the stock front bushing still in place. Hope this helps.

so you are saying leave the front bushing in take out the back one ( closest to prop)and use the kinetic going in from the back
Still waiting for the kinetic to get in stock
i did get the lead teflon ones seem to be same size as stock but when try to put in they stick out for some reason confused

The kintec one designed for the Mg in the MG upgrades tab has been out of stock for awhile. I ordered the 3/16 short bushing in the flex cables tab. The stock strut on my mystic has a a machined sleeve in the center of the strut that the two factory bushing push into and stop up against this. Im sure the MG has the same design. I dont know anything on the Mg upgrade bushing since I haven't seen one in person, Im just going by looking at how short it looks compaired to the one I ordered. Here are some pics to show how it works on my setup.

The machined center sleeve of the strut is the same diameter as the big end of the kintec bushing. Just to be clear, This setup is installed with the stock bushings removed at both ends.
