Stupid Question? Strut Adjustment?

So I'm ready to start tweaking the MG.

If I am going to adjust the strut height or angle, what if anything needs to be done to the flex tube? Do I need to bend it to match the new strut height or angle? How does that work? Seems it's perfectly aligned now and any movement of height or angle would throw that off.
