My MG is all stock other than the Kintec off-set. I use Gens-Ace 5300 mah 30c batteries and have seven runs on it.
First Ques- I put on a Prather P220 (43.7 dia. 2.6 total pitch) ran it for one minute then checked the temps and everything was barely warm to the touch. Ran it for 5 mins. and everything was still just slightly warm. Boat was a little faster and with less wawawa! Question is am I pushing the stock ESC with this prop?
The air temp was a cool 48F and the water temp felt a little warmer maybe 55ish!
I am running the motor timeing on low via the programming card right now! Does this make a amp draw difference
2ND Ques- When pulling the flex to re grease the rear brass bushing came loose and came out with it. It was not stuck on the shaft so I cleaned it up and slid it back into the strut. Is this a bad sign? Do I need to replace the strut before anymore runs?
3rdly I noticed that the teflon liner was sticking out of the stuffing box farther than normal. Was touching the collet. I was able to slide it back down fairly easy! Is this bad news also?
Love this boat so far but would love to be able to get the wawawa to disapear! Still trying to get it tuned out. The last run with the P220 I had the top of the Strut bar flush with the mounting brackets and it was better.
Thanks in advance for any helpfull replies!
