The consensus is that it is top secret and copyrighted.
I may also be looking for it soon.

Not sure how this ended up in the Proboat section. I put it in the main forum for a reason. Although, I am surprised there isn't a repair kit of some sort from PB. They sell the stickers so why not the paint? I want to do a geico rigger. I like the visibility of that paint.

I may have something made if I can't find what I'm after.......or change my mind and do something else. haha

Terry, I think this question has been asked, and I don't know if anyone ever got the answer.

Truth is that I have no idea. They are painted like that in China, and Pro Boat doesn't import any of the paint.

I'm not sure what others have done. You would think it wouldn't be that hard to come up with...

I made mine with ppg paint. Find the brightest yellow possible then add a few drops of blue to give it that greenish look

What I did for mine was mix some flourecent green with flourecent yellow. Just a little bit of green is all u need. I had to buy rattle cans and then extract the paint and spray it with my air gun. I did my tenth scale truck to match my MG. For that I used createx paints I bought from Michaels for that. You could use those then just clear over it. The createx line is water based so it is questionable. I ended up going solid green this season for simplicity. I'm never satisfied with the hardness of rattle can clear. My proposed solution is to not use clear at all. I'm going to brush on the bondo brand resin after I put my color and then hit it with 600 and buff. Been experimenting on non painted surface and I think it is going to work well.

Ps also hate when my post about MG or Proboat get moved here. It's like I put it in the main thread cause that is where the most people will see it, but then it gets tucked back here. Pretty annoying.

I made a Geico Slash. Parma sells a neon yellow that's pretty close but it's for inside lexan.

I did find Krylon makes some flourescent colors. Maybe I'll just use some of that. I would prefer the Fusion strain as it's going over epxy but I'll have to make do. The exact color isn't that terribly important to me. I was hoping to find some epoxy paint that color because tape can be so unforgiving. I've had it yank off automotove paint in the cold weather.

I like working with Createx Autoair. Easy clean up. Works in an airbursh well. But you have to clear and I don't know how that combo would hold up to tape.

Why not use clear vinyl (real good) over the area to be taped?

NEver thought of that. I wonder if the glue on the vinyl will hold on better than the tape though. Can't keep a windsheild on my Titan to save my life for that very reason.

I have the Geico color. the same as what they use on the real boat. so its very durable and is actually an automotive Urethane basecoat clearcoat. You have to spray the boat white first and then the neon (Highlighter color). here is a boat that I did back awhile ago. a boat under 30 inchs in this solid color I will do for 120.00 with 4 coats of clear so if you scratch it you can buff it out. Also everything on this boat is paint. No stickers. 006.jpg007.jpg010.jpg012.jpg014.jpg

Doug, when I get this built ill get you some pics for pricing. Its a rigger so not nearly as much surface. Plus ill slap the proboat stickers on it. It will be at least a month before I'm paint ready.

Well, this is what I have done with my cleared CF hull.I haven't taped it yet though as it has locks and pins. But as speed is getting better it is time to tape.I'll let you know after the weekend.I just went to a sign shop and got a roll end for $10.You can cut the vinyl to the shape of the hatch in one piece.
