programing esc

Has anyone tried changing the timing useing the transmitter on there stock geico? I guess you hold the throttle at full while turning on the esc and it beeps double five times for hard timing but every time i try after a few seconds the motor starts even tried disconecting the motor.

Hi karlhh, I just got my MG two days ago. To set hard mode hold the throttle at full then turn on the esc and it beeps push throttle forward then it beeps, you should hear one set of double beeps for hard mode.
