    5s Run results

Hi guys ran my Miss Geico today on 5s for the first time wow what a difference boat was so much quicker the setup is an octura x642 with a zippy 2s lipo and a matching zippy but this time a 3s pack. Despite the fact the water was very choppy I managed a 42.3mph run verified by my trusty Garmin GPS so far im very impressed by this boat and would highly recommend it.

Sorry to pull your thread from the dead. I think my setup is close to yours and i'm getting 46 MPH with a X442 prop, Sea King 180, 5S, with stock motor. The reason why i'm posting is because i'm wondering if you were able to pull more speed out of your boat. I'm using a eagle tree logger if it makes a difference.

I was able to squeeze 48mph on 5s, x642. Swapped prop from x442. Data logged the runs and everything was running great.

ran 5 cells today first time also. 36 56 2030kv ul-1 motor, seaking 180, x445 ran 51.1 on the geko finally broke the 50 mark made 3 4 minute runs on 2 sets batterys all well and good
Decided to get froggy and threw a x447 on here made it 2.5 minutes before motor melted downtop speed showed 53.4 guess the 2 mph wasnt worth a melt down but now i knowand hey got to use the rescue boat 8) .No boat damage and esc was ready for more so threw my 1800kv pb motor and and continued the fun with the x642 love this hobby.
Now in the marked for a new ul-1 motor or any others you think would fit the standerd mount.Cant get the 1800 over 45 but will try on 5 cells

Seems i'm stuck at 45-48mph. The water was glass today and I went ahead and polished my prop, not the whole thing just the strut side. Seems like I lost a few mph either due to water being like glass or the polished strut.

              Sorry for the thread jacking.
