When I lived in Anchorage we raced twice a month all year long, even at -40F. This pool (without the lanes) worked great for a triangular course. There was a second floor mezzanine for a driver's stand - outstanding view. The boats were smaller and more manueverable that what we ran outdoors in the Summer, the fastest were Graupner Key Wests on 6 or 8 cells*.

    *That's round cells.

Very cool! I have to ask....how do the electronics stay cool and keep from becoming burnt toast? Although, burnt toast isn't bad with peanut butter.

              hi guys!
The video posted above is my video of my proboat miss gieco in the snow :)
I've done this a couple of times now because we are getting dumped on this winter.
I use the x642 and it seams to work fine, maybe a larger diameter prop would work better. I don't put on the sealed lid and just use the top lid, cut out holes on the scale intakes and thecold air will flow in. Couldn't use the motor or esc as a source of heat to warm up my cold hands.
Sorry about the music. ill change it.
              Thanks for postin the video!
