With the foam contacting the sides, bottom and just under the deck, the front of this boat becomes much more solid. I made a final pour of about 20oz up under the deck...
30 oz. of foam mix down each side? 20 oz. under the deck? I don't think that much would fit in the hull... Are those figures correct?

Darin, you told me how to do this at the SAWs, but it's better to see your foam sequence in writing. I'll probably start with a 1" fiberglass tape & epoxy on the inner seams first. Also, just got a Blackjack to run in N-2 Offshore class & it looks like the the seams are re-enforced with a 1/4" "V" shaped seam stiffener. My Miss G should work well on an oval course with my SAW setup. Hey, 52 MPH on my virgin run ain't bad. Again, I really appreciate your help & advice at the SAWs. Nice guys DO win!!! JIM

Ah... that makes a lot more sense! 20 hours of driving would make me unable to even type, let alone remember volume measurements....

One of my buddies' Mystic hull split at the bow from sponson to sponson. Of course, he ran it into the bank at full throttle!

I'll be adding some foam to mine, just to help insure the longetvity of the hull. I love it and don't want it to come apart!

Glad you cleared that up Darin. When you told me how to fix my MG at the SAWs I think you said OZ. CCs make a lot more sense. I'm building the ProBoat Blackjack hull to race in the N-2 Offshore class. What do you think of that hull for racing, and which hull would you recommend as the best for Offshore oval racing? Send me a private message if necessary. THX, JIM
