Ice 240 in MG

So I ran the MG with a 1515 1Y and a Hydra Ice 240 today and it was so smooth,too smooth.I was expecting a little crazier action from it and was wondering if the contoller being set to 2 poles @1100 kv would have anything to do with it.I was only running x642 prop and had no heat issues;85 F motor,120 F caps.Data says 33,000 rpm,149 amps and was on 4s2p 4000mah 40c batts.Anyway just lookin for opinions.Thanks

yes it is.I think it is time that I purchased a GPS.I think that will also help with evaluations.I have a m445 and x645 s&b to try as well.I guess I was expecting alot more performance over the stock 1500kv motor.

Yeah I'm not familiar with that esc, but I do know that a leopard 2200kv in my 32" pursuit hull is approaching 55mph. 4S2P M445. So yes, you should have seen a big speed difference over stock.
