    Ul-1 motor 60A esc question

    Ul-1 motor 60A esc question
    on 4s 4500 40-90c nano tecks
ok Have a seaking 180 on its way but want to run this set up for now in my MG
what is the largest prop I should be running with the 60A and then how big can i go with the 180.
I was thinking 445 with the 60 or is that not a good idia and no idia were to go with the 180
    I am running 4s 2 packs parrallel

I run a 1800kv stilleto motor and esc in it now with a 445 and get 3-4 minute runs within temps
exept motor to esc connection still having issues there
but dont know were to go with the ul-1

thanks for any input you may have help please dont just look chime in

I ran a Prather 230 and got my fastest speeds over the 445. On the stock set up it ran really hot and I only got a couple min out of my packs. Looking at my eagle tree data this prop pulls about 100amps in the turns (From my observation, the highest amp draw times), the bigger esc will run a lot cooler with the big props but overall performance will still be tied to what motor you have in the boat.

You need to provide a bit more info.. Are you looking for just strait speed runs or are you looking for a certain amount of run time? For me the 42 x 55 is the best of the 6 props I've tested for the run time/speed balance I need but I'm running the stock motor with less rpm & more torque then the UL1 motor. You may want to try a ABC 45x55?

this is my go fast boat i want about 3-4 minutes run time and best speed i can get with that in mind

i already have a second mg running the 1500 stock motor and 642 get about 12 minutes of casual running out of 2 2s 5500 speeds about 41
want the other boat for the wow factor but want to make more than 2 passes before heat is an issue

I would suggest a bigger motor & 2 x 4 cell packs then. From what I have seen the UL1 motor is not a significant improvement over the stock proboat one (its just different). You may want to consider a castle motor or a cheaper equivalent.

ok ran the setup as listed with a 445 prop man is it fast ran 2.5 minutes and everything was within reason of coarse the motor to esc connections were 180 a ongoing problem with both my boats have 5.5mm but seems to be the week point of this system not sure as to speed as the damn gps battery was dead but will check next time out.Think thisis my low cost upgrade for wow and speed on 2-3 minute runs

I will use my other mg with the stock set up and 642 for sprting around the lake and longer run times
