    How to improve performances

    Dear All,
I am running it stock (except Kintec offset and X642 prop), with 2x2S 5000 may Lipo and would like to make it a be more fast. I would like to keep the 2x 2s Lipo. What new engine and ESC would you recommend ? Something not to complicated to install. May I really get an improvement by changing the engine and keeping the same Lipo ?
    Thanks

You can improve the performance still using 2s x 2 with a different motor but youll have to also change the esc as well as its only 45amp.

You could probably get more speed by adjusting the strut height and angle. Plus it's free!
Do you have pics of the back of your boat? Both side and rear.

You can run a higher KV outrunner motor on the stock ESC. If you can get youyr hands on a Castle 1800 3424 motor or a Turnigy 1800kv motor, ether would give you reliable power keeping the stock ESC. You could run a grim 42x55 and it would haul but pretty good once you got the strut level with the bottom of the ride pads and found the CG to get most of the bounce out.

          Why not change the prop

Try level the strut with the sponsons. You can also try raising it a little if that doesn't help.

Also doesn't look like that prop has been balanced and sharpened

Good Catch! I just made the assumption that it had been done.

Well I paid for it to be balanced and sharpened, so I hope the shop who sold it to me did it !

I am more into rc planes usually, and I do balance my prop myself for my planes. But as I never did it for a boat, I asked the shop to do it.

How can you see it isn't balanced/sharpened just by looking at it ?
