    Miss Geico motor

I have a Miss Geico. Everything is stock so far except for a PB stainless prop. I would like to upgrade the motor without changing the ESC. What are my options? I was looking at the Castle 1800kv outrunner, but was worried about not being able to cool it. I will be running two 2s 5000mah Turnigy Lipos. I was also looking at the Leopard motors...they can be cooled, but which could the ESC handle? I want to keep in under $100. Im looking to get the boat in the 58-60 range.

Chime in and give me some advice!

.If your looking to get that boat in the 50 to 60 mph range I dont think the stock 45amp esc is going to handle it. I believe I am getting my apparition cat (similar to yours) to near 50. I'm running a 1900kv motor with a 125 amp esc x442 prop.

I run the castle 1800kv with the stock 45amp esc in my MG. It's much better on 4s and low 40s with that esc. The esc can be pushed harder, but I would not recommend it to you. Change your esc and run the stock motor on 5s or 6s is another option. If you want 58-60 you need a different setup.

Alright....I sent you a PM but was wondering if a leopard 4074 2200kv would work with the stock ESC with two 2s lipos in series.
