    Ultimate Miss Geico setup.

I have a brand new miss geico. Never bought battery packs for it since I was planning on ungrading it immediately. What would you guys recommend for an mg ultimate setup? Motor, Esc and battery choice. Also what do you guys use for battery chargers. Seen a few on youtube run 55mph plus. Im a top of the line kind of a guy. Want the thing to be badA. I am very new into boats. Sold my baja ss on ebay for 3k...just needed a change.

im running a cc1515 2200kv + T-180 + x442 prop it runs high 50's on 4s the boat will not run much faster than that unless you can keep the nose down some how.
this motor just fits under the lid.

Not sure what you want to do with it other then go fast. Race? There are a lot of options if you read through here a bit. I really like running two 4c packs in parallel. I have been really happy with my upgrade to the Hyperion 720i duo3 charger this year. I can charge 2 4c 5000 packs in about 20min and could go faster if I bought a different power supply for it.

would m445 be good choice for running 5s? Should the prop be balanced and sharpened? I feel so lost when it comes to all the 5s 4s blah blah. I have no clue how all the amps/cels add up.

Looking to purchase T180, Leopard 4074 2200kv, m445, x445. Can someone please recommend batters for 5s setup? Are the batteries lipos? I dont know anything about batteries. What kind of connectors do I need for esc, motor and battery? Is there any other parts you guys would recommend upgrading? Someone said something about kinetic offset rudder??

Is there a difference between boat motor and car motor when looking at the 4074 leopard?

Get the boat version and the cooling jacket for it as well. I would strongly recommend hyperions for the batts. I use them for boating and for offroad, and they are the best value in lipo batteries (IMO). You can get lipos alot cheaper, but i like the peace of mind that comes from buying quality batteries from a reputable company. I would suggest getting the 45c 5000mah, that's what i run with a T-180, stock motor, and (b/s/p) m445, and they come off the water at a balmy 97 degrees. This tells me that i have plenty of room to push them further if i decide to put a higher kv (more amp hungry) motor in my boat. For 5s, you will need 1- 2s battery, and 1- 3s battery. You should buy them both at the same time (or at least make sure they are very close in cycle life) and make absoulutely sure that they are both the same brand, mah, and c rating... i can't stress that enough. The only difference between the batteries should be the number of cells. As far as connectors go (esspecially if you run a 5s set up), change everything on the boat and the batts. to 5.5mm or bigger. I have learned a lot of this info right here on this great forum, there is an answer for every question here if you poke around a little. It's also a great place to buy everything you need for your boat (including those Hyperion batts.), it's always a good idea to support a site that you get alot of support from. Just my $.02

the batteries from Hobbyking are just as good as Hyperion's batts. with the same specs for up to 1/5Th the price!! my turnigys will make my boats go just as fast as the guys boats that i race against and they run Hyperion's, wouldn't waste the money for the Hyperion's, just my .02
too much power not in the FE racing dictionary

Would you guys just run it on 6s? Or is that pushing the 4074 2200kv to much. What about the 2000kv? Get two 3s 5000mah 45c batteries? Already ordered 6.5mm bullet connectors. 10ga or 8ga wire be better? Any one else have further experience with turnigy batteries?
