    Which one M445, X445, X642,X645, S220......?

    1500 kv

    30c-40 4s (2x2)

    stock 45amp esc

    Miss Geico 29"

    Need help picking which one that make me go as fast as possible with stock electronics.

    btw what is the difference between the m445 and the x445????? specs look the same but idk.

    See you are new here, welcome to OSE! Lots of great people and information on this site!

    To play it safe, I would use the X642 but that's just based on my experiences. I had my pop's Geico dialed perfectly running stock esc and motor with the x642 and GPS'd it around 37-38mph. The M445 works great on this boat too but I have no experience on long term use with it in stock form. Stay away from the X645 you would need a esc upgrade for sure. I have no experiences with the S220 on this boat so I can not comment. Others will chime in too but you can find alot of info by just searching the Geico forums. You can get a good idea of what works and what doesn't.

    The M series props are detounged X series props. Look at the blade shape and you will notice the difference. The Ms will unload the prop for a few more rpm while providing a little more lift. Either will work well. I use them both on my cats although the Ms are easier to dial-in imho.

      what is detounged?

      would you help me dial in my miss gieco please.

      im getting a bit of bounce

      and how do i figure out the cog form the transom? the ride pad? which one do i measure from.

      i want to dial it in perfect for maximum speed with upgraded prop and stock electronics and want ot get rid of the bounce wah wah wah thing.

      what strut setting should i use? neg. pos. idk neutral.....
