    Grimracer prop versus x642???

I was looking at getting a octura x642 prop and found that grimracer has a 42x66 prop versus the octura 42x67... Will there be a noticable differance in these props? I like the grimracer prop becouse it comes ready to race for $25! Does anyone run these props in the MG????

The grimracer prop is not ready to race. You will need to balance and sharpen it.

I like the simple Octura X series props.

The Grim prop is a lifting prop and while it has pitch similar to the x642 it will load the motor more (more blade are) and have more lift. I like the Grim 42x66 on hydros, but I de-lift it a bit first. I'm not certain how it will work on the MG.
BTW the Grim props are not ready to race out of the package - they are not balanced, just polished. OSE offers them balanced for $47.
