    MG Strut

Okay well my miss geico has a pretty bad vibration. And the only other thing I can think of is to replace my flex shaft and strut bushings. Right now it feels as if the propshaft does have some "slop" inside of the strut. So what do you guys think? What should I replace? And where can I get a new bushing?? I think the Kintec is out of stock.

I would also make sure that your prop is balanced and your flexshaft liner is in good shape.

It's just the stock prop right now. And how do I remove the Teflon liner? I have tried to pull on it with pliers, but it didn't budge

Okay, I got lucky and got the Teflon liner and the bushings out of the strut without damage. So now I need replacement parts. So can I just get any type of .150 Teflon liner? Or is there a special or better type? And what would be the best replacement for the strut bushings? And the last question...should I replace the flex shaft as well?

Kintecracing sells flexshafts and teflon liner. They also have replacement bushing.

I was planning on buying parts from there. But the bushing appears to be out of stock. So I was looking for alternatives.

Have a look at the last post here:

                http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...ushing-from-MG

My stock flex came apart after a short while, and also had a woble in it. Now with the kintec bushing and flex it's smooth.
