    Lipo case removed

    Can you just crack open a hard case lipo and take off the case.
    maybe wrap electric tape around

      Yes, but make sure you don't cut or puncture the battery inside or...

      I just removed the case from all my hardcase batteries and wrapped in shrinkwrap.

          Do not use electrical tape! You will hate the mess once the pack gets hot. Use shrink wrap from OSE.
