    Who to contact

I just recieved my miss Geico pro boat and after only 3 full runs .I notice that the back of the hull is cracking on both side left and right of the center moter mount.Do they cover this or am i just SOL should I try to pump some epoxy on the inside down in there or what would my options be .
Doesnt seem to be all the way through or see water in yet but paint cracked all the way acroos and looking from the inside It looks very thin as light comes through there and no were else.

      Who to talk to update

I have a message into Pro boat but if like any other product I've had trouble with in the past from other company’s there response will be to little to late, or not at all. So my additional question would be if I just mix up some fiberglass resin and hold boat vertical pour it in to the bottom of boat to you think this will bond strong enough. As it is not a very accessible location inside .I will have to be careful to clear the rudder mound screws as I may need to remove them some day and I will pull out the cooling line and re-drill the hole after resin is set. What do you think?

          Ok thanks for the info
          Tried that to no avail
Was told once it hits the water the hull it is no longer warranted
I told him only ran 3 packs on it and crack has developed all the way across the back
Not leaking as of yet but notable thin in rear as seen from inside
It has no scratches on it or anything so plain to see it was not crashed but was told sorry we can sell you a new one or send it to us and we may be able to fix it for you.
Not the answer I was hoping for going into the summer run season, as I’m sure I will be out of commission 3 weeks min with shipping there and back and there fix time.
I guess ill just have to try my fiberglass resin pour and hope she holds
Love the boat other than that very fast still need to fine tune battery location as is still wawawa at high speeds maybe the x642 prop I got from Joey will settle her down

thats not right m8 they need to atleast have a look at the hull if its that thin as you say thats defo a manufacturing fault and should be changed foc with you returning the old hull of course, i am having trouble with them too but on a flight simulator that will not upgrade if this is gonna be there way of dealing with dis gruntled customers then i can see a lot of people not buying anything from horizon hobbies, i for one am very upset and really thinking twice about buying anything from them again, sorry daren but they need to sort there cs out pronto, its slipped a long way since i bought my mg they were great then but now i am hearing more and more horror stories about them.

Horizon did a phenominal job with my hull issue! I had a formula Fastech and used it twice on my honeymoon and the hull cracked. I contacted them, sent it in per there dime, and they sent me a MG in return because they could not obtain a new Fastech hull. I can give you the contact to the manager that took care of me. She even contacted me daily via email or phone until the day it arrived. I would do that before using the resin. I know how bad it sucks to have a broke boat so soon, but the pay off in my case was priceless! I had a MG the day Horizon sent em out, even with the wrong flexshaft LOL. PM if I can help!!!

horizon has always called me back within the hour. My buddy had issues with his hull and the shop he bought it from took care of it for you. Keep in mind they cant just give out hulls to every joe blow (not saying you) that calls and says his hull cracked. Don't lose your temper with them and be civil. Horizon has taken care of me the few times i needed them to. I like horizons products, i think they are on par with their price vs quality ratio.

Hope your issues get sorted out, I love my MG, didn't split the hull until i submarined in shallow water, put some fiberglass tape over the split after i dremeled it out and its running like a dream again, between my SV27, Miss vegas conversion and the MG, the MG is my favorite to run. Took a little to get it that way but it impresses everyone that sees it run.

                          Greetings Paul,

Thank you for contacting Horizon Hobby Product Support.

Sorry for any inconvenience and problems you have experienced with our
products. The warranty on the unit is free from factory defects out of
the box at the time of purchase, unless otherwise stated in the product
manual or product description on the website.

I have reviewed your photos and have determined this is not something
covered under warranty (manufactures defect). The boat looks to have
been used. You can replace the hull using the below links.

"Horizon Hobby, Inc., (Horizon) warranties that the Products purchased
(the "Product") will be free from defects in materials and workmanship
at the date of purchase by the Purchaser." As stated in the manual on
                          all Horizon Hobby products.

                          Thank You,

Here are the photos of rear hull.I had put some epoxy over the crack to help keep it from getting worse ,before I took the pictures.
As I was told by there phone rep they would not cover. It did come apart further on next run.I have now filled the rear hull with epoxy and seems to have stopped don't know for how long IMG_1572.jpg Other side is the same.
