    Miss Geico, Finland

    Hi all!

Ive been boating for few years, with gas and electrics.

I got meself a Miss Geico and have been having some FUN with that little boat!

Im planning to keep the setup stock and see what comes out!

So far im using Turnigy 5000mah 40c 2s1p batterys and stock b/s X645 and been hitting right on 40mph mark everytime.

No bounce, atleast mostly and when having some small chop(ripples?), cg is at 22,5cm´s from rear of the sponsons.
Im packing into the boat a Garmin etrex too so theres some extra weight in it too...

Im happy with this little thingy and planning for next prop, but GR 42/55 seems to be out of stock where I buy stuff.
I need the prop to be preworked since I suck at propjobs...

I was thinking to try a X648 too, since temps were around 100 after 5 min hard driving.
Normally when sport driving, i get below 100 for the first 5 minute session, and then take a 5min brake and finish with a another 5min session, and temps on boat are at or below 100.
The batterys will be slightly warmer after second session since they start to be empty.

The batts usually take around 5100 to 5350mah when recharging them and volts when empty show like 3.25 to 3,5, so im safe? right? hehe

I dont have the esc programming card yet but it is on the way here.

    Cheers all!

IMO, I dont think its a good idea to run it witout programming the ESC. And the battery voltage seems low to me. Ive never had a LIPO take more than the ma's rated on the pack. Just hope the lipos dont puff and explode I use a Triton EQ2 for a charger snd seem to have great results and the pair of packs never take more than 10 ma's more than the other.

    Goodluck

Ye, well... Hehe... I know ur right but...

Thats why I time my sessions with a timer, to not to exceed the capacity of batts.
I have worked my way up on mah on batts and driving time...

But, as I said, the prog.card is on its way.

The volts and recharge capacity is equal on batts, before and after, with some minor differencies sometimes, just that I time my sessions is not THAT accurate becouse of driving style changes, hence the diff on recharges and empty cell voltage.

For chargers I use Ultramat 10´s or 14´s, depends what is free or available, gotta whole lotta going on,lol!

      Cheerrs!
