I removed some material from the bracket because the servo rod rubbed on it.

Here is Kintec 2nd Generation installed. Dirt simple. Have you read the tons of posts on this change? I ask as it has been determined that in most cases, it is not necessary. The problem can be corrected by prop shaft adjustments and refined further with battery movements.

Note: When you install the off-set it changes the geometry is changed, so you will need to change the switch so that the boat will go left when you turn it left, if you don't change it, the control is backwards.

Also, you should consider using plastic "break away" bolts to hold the bracket in place, so that if the rudder hits a solid object the bolt break instead of the hull. Steve at OFE can sell them to you. I got them after I took this picture.

Suggest those posts that report on this are worth reading. Lots of good stuff.

      Just an FYI -

I am running the UL1 motor, 125amp ESC, 6S Venom lipo's, it ran 55.2 on my GPS in very rough conditions, i had to keep letting out of the throttle. The offset rudder helped out a lot, i know i can get more out of her with a little more dialing in.

I enlarged all my water lines and installed an intercooler, motor is not even hot after a few hot laps, im watching it closely. The intercooler works really well.

I am really new to the RC boating world, so bear with me here.

I know most races go clockwise, but I would like to be able to turn equally well both right and left. Does off-setting the rudder affect the turning capabilities of the boat?

Do you use one or two break away bolts? I was thinking of just putting one in the bottom thinking it would kick the rudder up and I would not loose it?
