soldering 5.5 connectors

just a quick question!
can i solder the stock connectors into the new 5.5 connectors or should i just remove the stock first??

would be better to solder a connector directly to the wire. soldering a connector over another connector might add some resistance.

desolder them. It will make it easier cause the wires will already be tinned.
