    stock esc

    would the stock esc handle a castle 1515/1Y 2200kv motor or would i be pushing the esc to much. going to run 2 2s tenergy 5000mah 20c and a 42x55 grimracer prop. would this set up work or not

    Will not work.That stock esc can handle a little abuse but that motor is way to much for that esc. Also that motor may be too much for those lipos. You should be running 5000mah 40c or higher or go to a 4s2p setup. I love my Tenergy batteries and I think they are good, but at only 20c that motor maybe too much for them.

    With that 42x55 prop you could get away with a Seaking 120 and a 1p setup.

    A better setup though would be a Seaking 180 or Swordfish 200 and a 4s2p setup. Would be less on the esc and batts and would be very reliable and also more room to play with different props. JMO

        I agree..My favorite mod to my MG so far is the sk180 esc...Get it..You can thank us later..hehe..

          be sure to check the water flow through the turnegy esc lol i had a 120 that didnt get the water channel drilled all the way through and blocked the cooling water......ordered two more just to check that problem mind u lol

          decide to change to the aquacraft ul=1 2030kv motor ...havent tryed it out yet though.....
