Push Button Hatch Locks for Canopy

Installed a Kintec Racing Push Button Hatch Lock. This lock keeps the canopy secured and will not come off.

I removed both magnets and installed my hatch locks where they used to be best mod for your cannopy ohh and don't forget to reinforce the cannopy with some fiberglass another great tip I learned

I have the same thing on my MG and i still tape the hatch down just to be safe if it turns turtle the water will eventually get into the hull, plus remember all you have is a small pin in the front and thats just glued in place it could break free anytime and there goes ur hatch so i would and do tape the hatch down everytime

Don't those draw in water? How do you keep the water from traveling up in through the lock it's self.

I would use both, Guarantee you will get water inside at some time or another without using tape. I've had my MG upside down for a while and wouldn't trust not tapping it.

I have had tape fail on me though, it's how i lost my last hatch. This is why the hatch locks may be a good idea.

The tupperware lid works well, but this is water we are talking about, it will go where you don't want it. Tape is just one more precaution and it is one I highly recommend to any FE boater.
