Miss Geico performance on NiMH batteries?

I am looking a getting the MG.

If I do get it, I am planning on running 2 4600mah NiMH batteries initially and upgrading to lipos at a later time.

Obviously, I know running NiMH batteries isn't ideal for speed, but it's all I have for now, which is better than nothing.

My question is how much of a speed drop will I see out of the box on NiMH batteries?

mine was dirt slow,and i found out thats why mine wouldnt plane out right off the line,it took it a few feet before it would come out of the water
