Ripped all the wood out of my boat

One of the battery trays was coming loose so I decided to gut it and start fresh. Laid 1 layer of glass in her. I made the motor mount and installed 2 under hull water inlets and a new water exitwhere the rudder line came in to the hull. Motor is a 1512 2650kv, T180ESC with Turnigy BEC, 4S 2P, 42x55 prop.

Like how you re-positioned your bat trays, I had one of mine come completely out after a good blow over. Looks like the batts will come out easier too. Will the Tupperware lid fit with this setup?

Thanks guys. I've learned a lot from all the more experienced members here and decided to put some of that knowledge in to this build. I really like the way it turned out.

The lid fits still fits. It was one of the reasons I made my own mount. I had to make sure it still fit or I would of never rebuilt it.

I got a PM from another menber telling me that my wires are too long. The ESC is in the stock location. The wires on the motor are the same length as the ones on the outrunner I ran for quite a while in this boat with no issues. If i move the esc forward I migjy have to compensate by moving the batteries back. I finally got the CG in this thing figured out. I don't want to go through that again, lol. All the wires are the same length and need to stay that way for a 3 phase system to work properly, so for now they stay the way they are. I will however take his advice and add a cap bank next.

Looks good to me. Unless your trying for world records, I wouldnt worry at all about your wire length. Great job Raf!

Ray, I laid a 1 layer of cloth from the transom to the foam piece inside the boat. I didn't want to rip it out and go all the way to the front of the boat. I don't like relying on just pool noodles since they soak up a bit of water. Do you think it needs more than 1 layer? The boat seems pretty solid to begin with. Granted the only other PB boat I have to compare it to is a BJ26 which is paper thin. On that 1 I added 2 layers. But I'm new to this so I could be missing something.

I just noticed your motor cooling lines. Looks like in the top and out the bottom, which will not completely fill the jacket with water. I always do the opposite.
