The 1512 would of been perfect, but they sold out long ago. The only other motor left that will work also verified to work is the 34-24 1800kv outrunner. Everything else on sale is either too big or too small.

Could I use it on 6s? Or would a fiego or lepord be better?

I am using a 4082 leopard on 6s for my MG. prolly i have not trimmed my MG well enough hence causing it to filp on several occasion. IMO the motor is too powerful however if i set my throttle trim to maximum '-ve' it will be still driveable with power. Temps are stupid low a 40+ celcius . My best bet will be 4s with leopard 4074

Holy S*** too powerful is a understatement more like straight overkill

No don't run that CC outrunner on 6s, 4s or 5s is just fine. Feigao either grab the CC motor from the sale or grab a Leopard for Steve...

Also would I need a new coupler for the castle?

                  WAY, WAY to big. Something in the 40-45mm range would be better... x440, x440/3, m440, Grim 40x52/3, x640, x442, x642, Grim 42x55, x445, m445

No the stock MG coupler should work fine, you may need to cut down the shaft length on the CC, they are pretty long.

O I think your saying you won't have to cut the shaft length down for the coupler fit the motor and in the boat properly. Good to know, did you use the stock thrust bearing that came with the CC also?

I had to cut both shafts on my 1512 and my 3424 to fit them in my MG. The stock motor shaft and the CC shafts are not the same leght. The CC shafts are longer.

Just uploaded this video. 3424 is more than enough. This is on 4S but I would run it on 6S and a 38MM prop. She would really fly then!!

I would suggest to add wood spacer behind the blue motor mount instead of 'cutting' the motor shaft. I will try to get a video up this weekend

Good suggestion, but I wouldn't add a wood spacer between the motor and the mount, which is what would be necessary to move the motor forward on the boat, not up. Wood is soft and will eventually fail. I didn't measure how much I cut but if I had to guess it would be at least 5mm. Both my 3424 outrunner and 1512, which I have cut the shaft on fit in ether my MG or my Genesis with the stock motor coupler of each boat, and the drive cable securely on it, in the stock motor mount.

                              Just my $.2
