    MG stock Flexshaft prop nut.

Not sure if anyone has had a problem with finding the right size prop nut, but I did. I have a reverse and standard flexshaft from the MG that I am using in a twin. The flexcables did not come with prop nuts, so I dug in my stash pulled out 2 10-32 nuts like most of my other cables use and they did not fit. So I used a thread gauge and found they are metric m5-.8 nuts. You can pick a 4 pack up at Lowes for $.68, just though I would share that.

    These worked for me: http://www.lowes.com/pd_138357-37672...&storeId=10151

That is weird... My replacement shafts came with a prop as well (plastic).

I keep trying to specify to the manufacturers that I want 10-32 sized threads... Guess I should be happy that they at least get the 3/16" prop-shaft part correct!

I'll keep working on them for future products. Trying to get all of these US market boats to be standard sizes in these areas.

What shaft did you buy? If it is the stocker http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...#quickOverview that bullet nut will not work

When they sent me the replacement cable for the reverse mix up it did not come with anything besides the flexcable/shaft. No drive dog, no nut. Just the assembled flexcable. I was shocked it wasn't 10/32.
