    Castle 1512 in a Ms G?

I wanted to pick up an 1800kv 1512 before they ran out, from the clearance section on Castle's site, to put in my MG. Anyone know if it will fit under the inner hatch and if the water jacket for a 1515 will fit? Seems like the water jacket might be 4mm too short but I wanted to know if anyone has actually tried one?

    Thanks in advance!

The motor will fit. I have have one in right now. The jacket for the 1515 i think is a little too long. I think you may have to cut it back where the wires come out of the can to make it work.

That's exactly what I was looking for. Thank you! Looking to get the 1800KV motor with a Hydra 120 for it. Should be solid on 2, 4S 3000 mah, 20C LiPos in parallel for a total of 6000mah @ 40C.
      Planning on using these batteries

        That would be 6000mah @ 20c

How would the C rating not double if they each put out 20C and they are in parallel?

That would be like saying that if you have 2 car batteries with 200 cold cranking amps each, you only have 200A total. Then why have 2 batteries in a diesel truck, like most do? Trust me, it doubles.

C rating is the packs internal resistance. It doesn't double If the packs are in parrallel. The amps the pair of packs provide will.

Example.. Your 3000 mah 20c pack alone will supply 60 amps. 3x20 = 60 amps
            A pair paralleled@ 6000 mah will provide 120 amps. 6x20 = 120 amps

20 being the C rating in the equation. Using your logic, the pair would provide 240 amps, but only 60 amps separately.....

            Trust me, it doesn't.

He's not taking a shot at me but your certainly are.

What part of "My bad" did you not get? I admit I made a mistake when I typed 40C. Instead of 6000mah @ 20C. When I made the car battery reference above I was clearly talking about the amperage, like 3000mah x2 @ 20C=120A

What is it with some people being so damn sensitive lately?......... Better now?

Does one really need to use emoticons that much on this forum? Some people are really cool and some seem to have "off" days, or just be up tight all together.

Well, I guess next time when I make a mistake I'll be sure to email that person a long apologies letter, followed by a bouquet of flowers.
