Lost my steering ?

Lost the steering on the BJ. it was acting like a weak servo, so I replace it, but it's still doing the same thing and barely moving the servo. Could a bad ESC be the problem?
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance !

What radio and receiver are you using? Does the transmitter have a steering rate/limit setting?

Corroded sockets on the transmitter could be one cause, see if you can clean them. Or a bad BEC in the controller. Pull the red wire on the ESC plug and try an external battery, see if that fixes it.

I checked the steering limit knob, had no effect.

What is a BEC ?
