    my BJ 29

hey guys i like this fourm and a wealth of knowledge . here is my blackjack 29 i have now crashed and fixed and re inforced due to a newbie blow over.

Im in the process of getting this boat to run to the best i can. i have a 42x55 and a x 642 s&b blade. . i know 4s is fun but 6s is better so will i need to upgrade the esc to a 180 amp? and motor? or is it best for me to get a big motor and keep 4s?
any help and comments are appriciated

2200kv on 6s is not a recommended set up for sport boating.
As you have pointed out, 4s is plenty and the boat likes either m445 or x642.
6s would be great if it is teamed up with a motor that's around 1600kv. If you are more experienced, then even a 1700 or 1800 kv, but 2200kv especially with this hull which is designed as a sport running boat, you will not realize what you wish for not to mention the unnecessary stress placed on your ESC.
Yes, up grading to a 180 is a good idea and it is not just for 6s.

        Just my $.02......

Very nice repair and paint job!!
Too many boats, not enough time...
