Octura prop x642 everything else is stock....Its the 7cell promatch 4600 that keep melting..no pics Am I just on the throttle too much? I just twisted the wires around each other and electrical tape it on and it runs but it seems to be melting the connectors off the esc...Comment

A few things can cause this. Poor solder joints on the connectors, Strut needs to be raised, Binding in the drive line, etc. Try a smaller prop. Did you lube the flex shaft before you ran it?Government Moto:

No I didnt lube flex shaft but after when I took it out it seemed ok....yea it seems the wire would get real hard right before the connector(Iguess its melting right there ) then it would just break off and the boat stopped....I'll raise strut and I already lube flex shaft....give it a go tommorow. Also I have 2 7.4v 3800 packs I ran and I can only run at 1/2 throttle as soon as I go WOT it stops in the water its just these packs and not the promatch...any ideas?Comment

Yes. You'll need the programmer. You want to disable the Low Voltage Cutoff. For the time being. Hold the throttle full open while you connect your batteries. That sometimes fixes that problem. As for the wires, twisting them will not work. Too high a current draw. You will need to re-solder them.Government Moto:
