    I don't have a hair dryer either, I have a heat gun that I put on low and keep my distance.

    Don't forget to add additional flotation. On my Blackjack, I found that if water did get it, even after taping, that I was much better off having the transom float higher on the water => Not as much gets wet or soaked.
