It looks like you might want to raise the strut and move it forward about 1/8".

          Lipo power

I have done almost the identical up grades to my boats! I f it stops raining here I will get a run in and let you know what the gps said. I my self am running an x-442 I found the x-642 a little big,but this just might be my boat.

            Speed

            Lipo Power

It ran 47.8 mph on the x442 and 48.3 mph on the x440 both balanced and sharpened. It did run hot and I pushed to hard on the last pass I blew one of the capcitors on the Hydra 240. So I am back to stock until my Hydra get's fixed then I am sure with some tweeking I can break 50 mph. I think that the x642 is to big at least my number are saying that![IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]

Krusty, great pictures! I like when people upload many pictures. Words are ok but many times is just easier to see it. Thanks.
BDW, what is the model of your Garmin GPS that you are using?

Definently try to leave at least an 1/8 inch gap between the drive dog and the strut. Also try to take the turn fins off, many people say that they are useless.

With the turn fins on my back end crabs around corners and really seem to trip it over in the turns.

Look at post #16 to see how his strut is adjusted. He broke 50 with his setup.

yes you guys w/ the fullers kit need to push your struts all the way forward toward the transom, and also you need to put a piece of brass tubing in between the strut and the stock stuffing tube and then shink wrap over it, if you leave the flex unsupported for that length and you have your drivedog correct with gap, it can make the flex knot up and kink in that unsupported section. hence ruined flex and possible loss of prop

Last saturday my set up got me 38.9 mph on stock prop. I will try x642 on 2 x 3s 5000mAh 30C batteries next time and will increase timing from low to normal. Will post GPS next time. Thank you for help, wicked!

The X642 should get you into the low to mid 40's. Even faster with a little tweaking.
