Stickers coming loose due to hatch tape

    Newbie question:
My BJ26 is four months old and I have been taping the hatch, as I learned here. The top clear film is starting to separate due to the repeated tape removal. The paint within the sticker is still intact.
1: Can the top film be reattached with a product? Solvaset or something that accomplishes the same thing?
2: Can the top film be removed from the underlying decal paint and leave the pattern intact? If so, any hints? Any subsequent product to protect the paint?

I am fine with the stock looks and don't have the time for more than a simple repair.

    Thanks!

It looks as if the blue is paint but the ones you need to worry about are the gray and yellow decals at the rear. I just pull slowly towards the back at a 180 degree angle, not straight up, and haven't had any problems

I removed all the stickers too. Actually looks better without them (IMO).

Could be the kind of tape you are using too. I tried using one type before that left all the residue and it was hard to clean.

Now I use the scotch type clear tape. Just buy the rolls in bulk at an office supply store. Sticks well, and peels very easy with no residue

OK, this may sound like a contradiction:
              1) I don't care how the boat looks on the water so I use black electrical tape. Boat is too far away from spectators and moves too fast. (White would be better when I find some.)
              2) When it is static I want it to look good. I don't want to ruin the multicolor pattern of the decals as the top layer comes off. Can it be removed safely? Can it be resealed safely and with what?
