I run an 8XL in a 32" cat(not a Blackjack) on 4s & an X642 prop. Gets me to just over 50mph.

What ESC are you using?

Etti 150 and Feigao 8xl will make that boat move. I will have more 8xl's in about 2 weeks.

Within the next week I'll have my cat (BJ 26) setup and running, and I'll be using an 8xl with Trak Power 4900 Lipo's, x642 prop, Castle 240 hydra and BEC pack. I can tell you though that while my boat ran stock prop, mamba max ESC, stock motor, 4900 Lipo's, I got 58kph/36mph, and you can see it here how it went.

Seems to be working fine. No issues with it so far. Yes I made a water cooling plate for it . Here's a link to it on the run. As i said it's not a blackjack but I've seen the same setup do the same sort of speeds in one.
