    whats the weight of your BJ26 ??

    Hi all

    just been giving my BJ26 an overhaul and a spring clean have tightened up the battery security after a double barrel roll on Sunday where a battery came loose and was rattling about also a better means for holding in my garmin 101 GPS lubed tightened and cleaned up the hardware and decided i was going to weigh my BJ26 at a pond ready state and it came in bang on 5lb

    and that's what prompted me to start this thread what is a good weight or reasonable weight pond ready for a BJ26 ?

    5LB ready to go and here's my set up

    fullers hardware
    ammo 2300
    ETTI 150 amp
    2x 20c 6600 mah lipo
    octura x642 (b,s)
    futaba fasst 2.4 GHz Rx
    1500 mah Rx bat pack
    garmin 101 GPS
    PB stock servo
    battery trays and the tupperware box removed

    I don't have one but my Crestrunner 36" cat

    was 5.6lb with it's 6s 4350mah (similar battery weight) setup, so it is not too bad.

      Nice boat man

      Ive been unable to unleash the power yet due to the wind whipping up and being a bit rough at the pond so i adjusted to run a little wet but she sits well in the water and with only 1/2 throtle managed a 38.3 mph on the GPS so will wait for better conditions and poss will get some 3 cell
