    new boater with a q

    hey there after reading a whole crap load of forums ill still unsure on what batteries i should run. i want the most speed and run times possible with out blowing my boat up. what batteries should i get? do i have to make any mods to run them?

    David a little more info on your boat would be a great help before anyone could recomend a battery

          David I don't want to give you any bad advice since all of my boats are 10c to 12c range and from 45' to 60' in length . but if its any thing like the SV27 two 3200mah to 4800mah 3cell lipo's paralleled should probably work great , I hope someone with experience in the smaller boats chimes in to confirm or correct this . do a search on the Blackjack 26 on this forum there has got to be extensive info

              Actually, with repect Peter. He requires 2 3500mah or higher 1P in series. The motor is rated for 14.4v

                  I actually would go a step further and recommend 4500mAh or higher Douggie,
                  3500mAh is not going to give you too much of a run time.

                        don't forget they have to be a high "C" rate (25 or more)
