offset for circuit work, and inline for recreational usage. ! i like the solinger hardware that fastelectrics.com.au sell, it works great for me.

I knew the tc31 rudder was huge but didn't know the strut was too. Thats why I use the fastech
rudder. And I also prefer the offset rudder as it will give you more speed than the inline will.

Darin will the speedmaster strut fit in a fuller bracket?

I don't think so.... the SpeedMaster strut is quite a bit thicker than the Fuller's... I was thinking the same thing. The Fuller's would have to be machined out to fit.

But... when you order a SpeedMaster strut, you get the brackets with it... Not sure if the bolt pattern is the same...

I'm going to just use a SpeedMaster setup on my BJ26 and we'll see how it works with that... OR I'll Order another 2" Fuller's bracket and use the Fullers stuff...

Was really hoping to keep it to ProBoat parts... but I think all their smaller sized stuff also has small, 3mm or 1/8"??? stub-shaft bushings...

I know with the fullers strut you only have to redrill the two bottom
holes as the top ones are in the right location.

Wow, I did not realize the TC31 strut was so HUGE. I am glad you caught this. Just had Steve cancel the TC31 strut order and send the speedmaster setup instead.

Yup... I just ordered a Fuller's 2" HV Super Strut from Ray to use with one of the struts in the picture, and also another SpeedMaster setup from Steven... I'll use the Fuller's setup on my BJ26 setup, with the BJ26 SS rudder assembly. Should work well together... though I wish now that I'd ordered the FASTech setup instead of the red SS setup... Maybe I'll have to do that...

any idea if I can use this rudder? It's 95mm. Is that long enough? I'll be mounting up 2 of these for a custom dual rudder setup.

thats about 3 3/4 inches right? If so that should be fine.

So are these setups inline rudders or are you actually switching to offset?

Same question on the Solinger pieces, they are all offset correct?

solinger is offset and a length of 78mm of blade plus upper mounting area, but only about 40-45mm is in use in full flight.

All three of these setups are offset rudders. I'm not a big fan of inline
as they are usually extremely long...

Just finished up a speedmaster 21 strut and fastech rudder combo. Came out pretty nice. The fastech rudder is a great piece for the price. Here is a picture. Sorry for the poor quality, it was taken with my phone.

Looks good.. I'm in the middle of two complete rebuilds right now
one with the fastech rudder and one with the speedmaster rudder.
one has the 2" fuller strut and the other has the 3.25 fuller strut.
will post pictures when done. I'm also remaking many parts in carbon fiber.
